Revolution is a convenient monthly, topical(spot-on) medication for cats that:

Unlike many other ‘topical’ (i.e. administeredexternally onto the body) parasiticides designed to treat fleas and otherparasites in cats, Revolution is not a scheduled poison and is approved for usewith kittens as young as 8 weeks old, as well as pregnant and lactatingfemales.
